“You can’t respect yourself if you’re afraid to be who you are”

I’ve decided to use this blog as a personal catch-all, a journal of sorts, but mainly to facilitate my love for design, photography, travel, and food. I like the idea of journaling and need a more solid, direct approach than putting pencil to paper. Also, I love the idea of feeling completely open and letting go of my internal fears of people’s judgement. Plus, the hubs and I bought a small fixer and I crave the idea of living with less, quality vs. quantity. My life or lifestyle isn’t perfect or for everyone, but it suits me just fine most days. Maybe I’ve become comfortable in my own skin? Maybe this is all just part of growing up? Who knows?

happy reading!

  1. YEAH…you’ve done it :) I look forward to the many posts to come! By the way, loved the intro and just a thought…if you ever decide to change careers check into HGTV’s Design Star for your big break! Even better maybe they’ll discover you now that you’re in the blog-o-sphere!!! I don’t know how it took me five seasons to catch on to this awesome show.
Have fun designing and congrats again on your lovely new home!
